anyone have any idea why? i can watch videos on other sights just fine. but i can't listen to audio profiles or even here the system sounds on here and I have know idea why. using firefox windows 7
The last version that I can remember of firefox that worked well with this site
was firefox 3. after that series, nothing worked right as it should. It would give
you an error saying at first, if you didn't have the quicktime plug-in installed to
install it, and if you did, it said that it would crash. I don't use firefox anymore, I
used to, but found that it was extremely slow, and that IE just seemed to run
things a little bit better.
you need the 32 bit version of VLC media player, at least that's what I'm using and it works.
Getting it to work however, can be a bit tricky, don't know if it's a screen reader thing or a browser thing, but it took me a while to figure out how to get it working.
Yeah the system sounds don't awork with firefox for some reason. I either use
my mac or Google Chrome to come on here as IE is buggy and firefox sucks
with JAWS.
